It’s Wedding Venue Wednesday! Which means I’m highlighting another beautiful local wedding venue. Today’s featured wedding venue is The Wedding Barn at L’Horne in Byron, GA! Follow along to find out why I love it so much!
The Wedding Barn at L’Horne in Byron, GA
I remember when The Wedding Barn at L’Horne was first being built, I reached out to the owner and we set up a meeting for me to go out to the venue and take pictures of their new venue. I loved meeting Mrs. Anna and her husband Mr. Jim that day. We had a great time touring the venue and I was so excited to hear their vision for everything. It’s incredible to see all that they have been able to do in these last couple years since that first meeting! So here’s the breakdown of what this beautiful southern venue has to offer. It sits on a 63 acre farm with a 119 year old barn near the front of the property. When they first purchased the property, they planned to make that barn the main building for hosting weddings. Unfortunately, it was just too old and not safe for inside use. The good news is that it still makes a great photo op for wedding photos and other photo shoots!

The Pole Barn
Not only do you have the option of the huge indoor barn, but you also have access to a large pole barn with open air sides so you can have a covered ceremony or reception but it still feels like you’re outside! Trust me, I’ve photographed a December ceremony under there and you could definitely still feel the cold winter air. 😉 But it’s absolutely breathtaking as it overlooks beautiful rolling hills and century old pecan and oak trees.

The Property
As I just stated, the property is so beautiful with rolling hills that it almost makes me feel like I’m on a Tuscan countryside. I promise you this, you will never run out of places to take photos on your wedding day at this venue. Between all the barns and beautiful landscaping, you will have so many options for your wedding photos!

The New Barn
After finding out they couldn’t use the old barn, they still liked the idea of running a wedding venue, so they decided to build a brand new barn! And boy is it a beauty! Inside you’ll find a space large enough for an indoor ceremony that can be flipped into a reception. It’s adorned with string lights running through the rafters, and it has both bridal and groom suites for getting ready on location.

The Staff
I mentioned the owners at the beginning, and I just want to reiterate how wonderful they are! I loved Mrs. Anna from that first meeting and she is just the sweetest soul. Those who know her would all agree with me! I love every chance I get to work with her Mr. Jim, and their son Jeremy. So, if you’re looking for a wedding venue with rustic charm, jaw-dropping landscaping, and amazing venue owners, The Wedding Barn at L’Horne in Byron, GA is the place for you! I hope you call and get a tour soon!
