As I promised last week, I am continuing to highlight my favorite wedding venues in the area. Today’s highlight is The Venue at Tryphena’s Garden in Fort Valley, GA! I love this wedding venue because it’s beautiful no matter what time of year it is. There’s always flowers blooming at every wedding I photograph here, which makes it a great option for your wedding day. Another reason I love this wedding venue is because it’s so unique. There isn’t another venue in the area that’s quite like it. It almost has an Italian esque to it, and I absolutely love it. This is the perfect venue for you if you’re wanting something that isn’t a barn, has beautiful landscaping, and is close to Macon. The Venue at Tryphena’s garden is about 32 miles from Macon, which is pretty reasonable if you’re looking for a wedding venue that is nearby.

The Scenery

As I mentioned, The Venue at Tryphena’s Garden always has some kind of flower blooming, no matter the season. Because of this, it always makes the photography side of every wedding there SO easy to photograph! Not only does it have luscious gardens, but there’s also a pond, a bridge, and multiple fields that make beautiful backdrops for portraits. I have never been to a wedding at Tryphena’s Garden where there wasn’t an incredible sunset. One wedding I photographed even had a huge rainbow across the sky after the ceremony! So needless to say, it’s a gorgeous and unique wedding venue with plenty of options for wedding portraits.

The Staff

Another reason I adore this venue is because their staff is incredible. Clara Bixler is the owner and operator for the venue, and she is just the sweetest person. Every bride that has gotten married at Tryphena’s Garden has raved about how much they loved Clara. Every wedding day, she is on site at the venue making sure everything is running seamless and that every bride’s dream wedding is coming true. I’ve even seen her get on the dancefloor during the reception and dance with the bride and bridesmaids! She’s such a fun and sweet soul, and I hope you get the privilege to work with her!
