A few days before their wedding, Crystal and Matteo had a traditional Italian Serenade, and it was by far the most romantic thing I’ve ever witnessed. A traditional serenade (pronounced sera-nada), is where the future husband surprises the bride by serenading her with singing outside, in hopes that she would be wooed to step onto the balcony and listen. Friends and family are present to watch and listen as the groom professes his love to his bride by his song. How sweet is that?!
Traditional Italian Serenade | Crystal & Matteo
Matteo did an incredible job playing guitar and singing his heart out to Crystal, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd.
After he sang some well known love songs, he sang a song that Crystal had written for him. I’m still emotional when I think about it!
Afterward, he snuck up to the balcony where she was and surprised her with a single red rose. They both came down to the courtyard and danced together as Matteo’s cousin sang a love song.
America needs to step it up because this was the sweetest and most romantic thing I’ve ever seen!
