Izrael and Madison’s intimate wedding at Washington Park may not have been their original plan, but it was still perfect! As like most couples this year, they had to reevaluate their wedding plans due to the virus. They ended up changing their ceremony venue to Washington Park, and had their reception in a friend’s backyard. They slimmed their guest list down tremendously, and I know these changes weren’t ideal, but they still made the most of it and had the best night of their lives! My heart goes out to these 2020 wedding couples so much. I’m so proud of Izrael and Madison for what their union signifies in The Lord and His Kingdom. They have always been a power couple, and I’m so excited to see where the Lord takes them as husband and wife!
How They Met + How He Proposed
I love to include how couples met and their proposal story, so here’s those details from Madison!
“We met spontaneously at a mutual friends house in our hometown of Macon,Georgia. Our friend circles intertwined, and it was organic and felt so real. I had the biggest crush on him and we ended up going to my senior prom together. From there, we spent two and a half years pursuing each other and being certain that we would spend forever with each other.
The proposal was a total surprise and so beautiful! Izzy walked me to a park near where we first met, had colorful rose petals and tea candles set up. He poured his heart out in a short speech and then got down on one knee to ask me to marry him. After I said yes, the photographer and my close friends came out from hiding in the bushes and surprised me further! I was convinced that the surprises were over, but soon I was blindfolded and taken to a beautifully decorated house that was full of our closest friends. To say that the proposal and engagement party were perfect would be an understatement! It was simply a dream come true!”
