Before the Shelter in Place was announced, we decided to venture out of our house for a family photo shoot. We got dressed up (it was the first time I had worn makeup in 13 days) and grabbed a tripod. Being in quarantine had us a little stir crazy, so it was great to change up the scenery and let the kids run and play while we took pictures. Yes, we practiced social distancing the whole time. 😉 Thankfully we only saw a few other people walking so that wasn’t hard to do! As I mentioned, I brought my tripod so we could get pictures of all of us. It worked out great because it actually made Elliott laugh as he watched me run back and forth! And I may or may not have sprained my ankle doing it, which was totally worth it.
I’m cherishing this time with my little family, even though every day brings challenges and I have to remind myself to stay calm through it all. It really has been a sweet time that I’m so thankful for. My birthday is this week (the 15th!), and I couldn’t have asked for better gifts than these three human beings. #socheesyandsotrue

We ended the evening letting the kids get a little wet in their overalls and it was so cute! They loved every minute of it, and often ask if we can go back to play in the “riber”. Thankfully we have a little blow up pool in the backyard that has been keeping them busy!
