It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for another wedding venue highlight! I’m going to try and post these at least every Wednesday, so be sure to keep an eye out for them! This week’s featured wedding venue is- Ashton Gardens Atlanta Wedding Venue in Atlanta, Georgia. It’s an incredibly beautiful wedding venue just outside of Atlanta. My brother and his wife had their wedding here in 2018 and I’m so glad they chose it as their venue. Grab some coffee and read along why I love it so much!
Ashton Gardens Atlanta Wedding Venue | Why I love it
It’s freaking gorgeous. The ceremony chapel has the best backdrop that are floor to ceiling windows, displaying beautiful greenery from the trees outside. If you want an outdoor wedding but are worried about the weather being an issue, Ashton Gardens is a great option because it still feels like you’re outside, even though you’re inside! That was the case for my brother and his wife on their wedding day. Morgan loves being outside and wanted an outdoor wedding, but they were getting married in August. In Georgia. Those two things don’t mix well together. Not only is it insanely hot outside, but there always seems to be a random storm that pops up in the summer right around the time that a wedding ceremony would be. So, we were very thankful that we found Ashton Gardens because it rained not once, but twice on their wedding day.
The Windows and Lighting
The first time it started to rain was right after the first look. I was a bit bummed because the scenery around Ashton Gardens is beautiful and I was looking forward to taking outdoor portraits. But, thankfully with the tall windows throughout the venue we were able to take them inside. They turned out beautiful and they still have that luscious greenery as if they were taken outside!
The Smooth Timeline
If you are considering Ashson Gardens as your wedding venue just be aware of this. They are known to host multiple weddings per weekend, sometimes even in one day. BUT they are very professional about making it all work seamlessly and making sure that each couple is taken care of. Believe it or not, there were three weddings the weekend of my brothers, including his. One the night of his rehearsal dinner, and two the next day. There was a morning wedding the day of Daniel’s, followed by his and Morgans that evening. I was blown away by how quickly they flipped the reception area from one wedding to the next!
