Adam’s Acres Riverside Wedding Venue is so beautiful. With it being on the river, it stands out among any other wedding venues in the area. When they first opened, I immediately knew that I wanted to do a styled shoot there. It’s a wedding venue that features a covered pavilion like building, which is perfect for receptions or even a covered ceremony. Which is always a great back up plan if the weather is an issue! It has a bridal suite, a groom’s room to get ready in, as well as a small kitchen. The property has beautiful greenery and trees, and not to mention the jaw dropping views of the river. It really is a hidden gem. So we put together a styled shoot with some incredible vendors and I loved how everything turned out!
Riverside Styled Shoot
I love doing styled shoots because there’s not a time restraint like there is on most wedding days, I can shoot with more creativity and ease, and it’s great getting to work with other local vendors in the wedding industry! It really is such a fun experience getting to create beautiful photographs without the hustle of a wedding day.

Torri and John had actually just gotten married not even a month before this styled shoot, so they were more than eager to put their wedding attire back on and cuddling in front of the camera again. Aren’t they beautiful models?! I had such a fun time getting these portraits for them and I know they loved flirting it out in the process.
Torri’s hair and makeup was done by the super talented Katrina James of Katrina James Artistry, and she slayed it, as always!
The flowers were put together so beautifully by Lizzie Odom of Little Blue Knot. She knocked it out of the park with these beauties! Fun fact – King Proteas are actually the national flower for South Africa! Aren’t they absolutely stunning?!
Torri and John made my job look so easy! It’s not hard to take beautiful photographs when the models are so stunning. 😉
