Dear Brides, I see you, I am hurting with you, and I am here for you. The last few weeks of my wedding, I was only worrying about the weather and where we would hold the ceremony if it stormed. The thought of a worldwide outbreak like Covid-19 didn’t even cross my radar. And I’m sure it didn’t cross yours either just a few weeks ago. It’s crazy how fast things have been changing day by day and I can only imagine how stressed you are.

Just remember, you’re not alone. Millions of other brides around the world are going through this exact same thing WITH you. I’m here for you every step of the way. JESUS is with you. Even when you don’t feel Him, I promise you that He’s there.

Try to remind yourself why you’re getting married. It’s because you fell in love with a person that you want to spend the rest of your life with! It’s not because of a big wedding. Don’t be distraught, there are options during this unsteady time. You can still get married, and according to the CDC Guidelines, you could still invite close family and friends if all are well. You could reschedule the big wedding as a celebration for a later date once things settle down. Please, as much as you can, reschedule with your current vendors, don’t cancel if you can help it. As for me, I am glad to reschedule without any extra fees added. (Ok, I’m not glad about this whole situation, but I’m here to serve YOU, and will do whatever you need during this time.)

Love Isn’t Canceled

Remember that no matter what happens, love isn’t canceled. When you feel overwhelmed, just remember to breathe deep breaths. Often. If you need to unplug from social media because it makes you anxious every time you scroll, just let that thing go. It’s not worth it. It’s safe to say that the future is unknown, and we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. But I know Lamentations 3:22 says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness.”.

Great is Your faithfulness. Even in the midst of this covid-19 craziness.
