I’m excited to start the week off with another wedding venue highlight! This has been such a fun series to do, and I hope you’re finding each of them helpful in your wedding venue search! Today marks number 4 on the list, with 6 more to go after this one. Be sure to follow along so you can see all of my favorite local wedding venues! So without further ado – let’s talk about The Magnolia Mule Barn Wedding Venue and why I love it so much!

The Magnolia Mule Barn in Fort Valley

When I saw a picture of The Magnolia Mule Barn for the first time, I had the thought that Joanna Gaines had moved to Georgia and built a wedding venue. It literally took my breath away! Seriously, it could be on the cover of Magnolia Journal any day. Imagine this: a huge all white barn with black trim and a quant open air chapel to the left of it, all sitting in the midst of a pecan orchard and a cotton field. Thankfully there’s no need to keep imagining it, because that’s what you see when you drive up! Now imagine this, YOUR dream wedding taking place at this beautiful wedding venue. That could become your reality so I hope you consider it in your search for the perfect location to host your big day!

The Chapel

Other than the iconic all white barn, another reason I love The Magnolia Mule Barn is the open air chapel. Maybe you’ve always wanted a church wedding, but you also LOVE the idea of having a barn wedding in the country. Now you have the best of both worlds! I love the fact that the sides of the chapel are open, because it still feels like you’re having an outdoor ceremony. Not to mention, it’s a great option for a covered ceremony if the weather is an issue. It’s a win win if you ask me!

The Staff

The venue is owned and operated by Rey Holcomb Payne, and it was built by her family for her own wedding (how sweet is that?!). She’s professional and hardworking and I know she takes care of every bride she gets the chance to work with. As a vendor, I have loved every time I’ve been able to work with her! With wedding season quickly approaching and their calendar filling up, I suggest you call to take a tour sooner than later!
